Physical Product Development:
Stationery Collection
From February to July 2021, I created and launched two versions of a self-care planner as a response to Covid-19. I wanted to help those feeling lonely and/or going through grief. My family and I were also grieving through a loss. I wanted to contribute to the mental health initiatives taking place worldwide.
Competitive Analysis
Research
I began by researching existing stationery companies and conducting a competitive analysis.

User Interviews
Research
Then, I worked with a UX researcher to create user personas, conduct user interviews and create an insights report.

Planner Version 1
Design
Following that, we designed the first version of the planner digitally and a logo.

Suppliers & Materials
Production
I then sourced suppliers to take the digital planner into print production.

On the Media
For launch, I secured an interview with Brand Ambassador Select.

Product Feedback
Research
After collecting feedback and testimonials, we learned there was a strong sentiment about the binding of the planner. A lot of people actually preferred wire-o binding. They also requested for the planner not to be black and white inside.

Planner Version 2
Design & Production

Following that, I designed the second version of the planner digitally incorporating color.
Afterward, I personally attended two factories in the Miami area to find a supplier that would print the planners with wire-o binding. (video)

On the Media (2nd time)

For the second launch, I was interviewed by ShoutOut Miami, a local magazine.
